Yellow

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with yellow. It’s a difficult color for blonds to pull off, yet amazing when it works. A color that won’t go by unnoticed. Combined with black it becomes too harsh on me, but next to white it pops and looks fresh. Navy works as well and beige- surprisingly. I realized, a mustard yellow skirt is the easiest option. It keeps the color far enough from my face and hair which I find important since I don’t want the color to bring out the yellow tones in my hair.
I really like this skirt and think I’ll wear it a lot during summer paired with sandals and a tee-shirt. Even though it’s freezing cold out today, I’m sticking to my decision to slowly incorporate spring items into my looks. And, it works! Layering is key, but it’s definitely time to welcome color and airy materials back again.
