The trench report

The trench coat has always existed in my wardrobe. It’s a piece I crave to wear just as much as my leather jackets. Even more so now, when my wardrobe has become smaller and my taste more specific. It’s the perfect classic that always dresses up any look and feels luxurious paired with anything. If it’s long enough wear it tightly wrapped with the arms and collar rolled up, or layer it on top of almost anything and you’ll look like a million dollars.
The trench coat is unisex and looks just as good on men as it does on women. Most of the most iconic and best pieces are just that, unisex. Simple, neutral and forever ageless. Crispy button up shirts, Ray Ban’s, good jeans and loafers equals impeccably stylish and never boring. My instant choice of color for my trench is camel or light beige, but I also like black- preferably in leather. This spring the trench is not only a great basic, it’s a must have. It comes in every shape and form and looks good on everyone.
My trench coat from KappAhl is perfectly nonchalant, easy and relaxed. I especially love the cute ties around the wrists as well as the dropped shoulders.
