My favorite collection by my collaboration partner KappAhlwill soon be released (some featured in this post are already in store! I linked straight to the products below). I styled four looks with focus on my most worn party styles; monochrome outfits, lace and flowers. The flower-patterned kimono and dress have peonies which is my all-time favorite flower.
Every single piece in this collection is super versatile. The kimono is perfect over a bikini by the pool and this white lace dress paired with sneakers and a leather jacket.
I believe in building a wardrobe where party wear and casual wear isn’t separated. Mix and match everything so that every piece of clothing gets worn. Most importantly, it’s the perfect way to make weekdays more fun and special or formal events more relaxed depending on your mood.

In this post, I’d like to show you outfit pictures and video taken with my phone Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The video is mostly filmed with Huawei. What I like the most in the camera in this phone is that you can change the aperture, making the background blurrier, the bokef effect. This function saves me a lot of energy and effort when trying to find a good spot to shoot at. A blurry background calms down busy environment, but focuses on the main object making it so much easier to get good pictures in any environment. In my opinion, the most important function and feature when shooting outfit pictures.
While shooting you can use the live beautification feature, making you look edited while shooting. You can also choose the amount of beautification you want present. Also, the camera offers you the possibility to switch focus point afterwards. So, when you’ve taken a picture with focus on the flower in the background instead of the face, you can fix that later. How great is that?
I’ve been using Huawei Mate 10 Pro for couple of months already and learned how to use it efficiently. I find it so easy to be able to snap pictures and videos along the day, comparable to pictures taken with my systems camera. Obviously, it’s much smaller than my systems camera, therefore it inspires me to take pictures in the most random and casual situations and settings. Another thing I love is the large screen! It’s a super bonus when taking flat lays, group pictures and especially when editing pictures. This is a huge pro I never understood the value of until now. A larger screen becomes handy also when planning and designing your Instagram feed.
These pictures are taken using different amount of the bokef effect. Some are less blurry than others which makes the whole series of pictures more interesting. It offers more variety when creating a series of pictures. It’s also super easy to change between 0-2 (2 being the blurriest). Huawei Mate 10 Pro makes it possible to shoot in Pro mode, giving you the opportunity to shoot RAW and use the most important settings typical for a systems camera such as like optical image stabilizer (OIS) and f/ 1,6 aperture on both sides. What also makes this camera extra ordinary is how well it performs in low light situations and setups.
I know I’m repeating myself when I say this, but the battery is seriously ridiculous! It lasts forever!!! Believe it or not, but that’s a deal breaker for me who use my phone as my most important working tool throughout the day. Huawei’s battery life is for sure one of this phone’s biggest strengths.
This collaboration has taught me to be more spontaneous and easy going when taking pictures. I carry my phone with me all the time, therefore it makes my life so much easier when I’m able to document my days so easily through my phone.
