Beauty is an attitude

I am so excited for this day! I completed my last exam yesterday so today I feel light as a feather. I still have a couple of courses to complete before it’s time to welcome summer and set focus towards other projects again. Summer is the best time for me to reflect over the year that has passed, make new plans, set new goals and get organized.

Even though it’s a bit more challenging spending enough hours outdoors with Greta when it rains like today, I still kind of enjoy the rain. Rainy days have a certain calmness about them that I love. There is beauty in  everything. It’s just all about how we choose to look at things. Like this beautiful metal recycling spot in Kalasatama for example. So beautiful in it’s own way.

Wishing you all a great Tuesday!

The last of winter in tartan

Outfit,28 January 2015

As someone else already mentioned I am also over these dark outfits and winter clothes. I’m ready for spring, lighter layers and color. This spring/summer I’m all about a light palette and mixing different shades of white, powder, blush and nude. I’m especially tired of black tights so I think you’ll be seeing more of blue jeans and crisp white shirts, stripes and sneakers as well! (And I actually found the perfect leather piece today. See it here!)

I’ve never been too into spring as a season but after becoming a mother I appreciate everything that allows us to spend more time outdoors and require less outerwear.

Today I’ve been at school and finally Greta is recovering from whatever virus she’s been suffering from. Hopefully our nights will benefit from this as well and I’m so glad she’s slowly getting back to her own happy self again!
