Stomach flu, fever and lots of other unclear symptoms. That’s what this January and February has been made of. I am one of those parents who fear spending time in public places because I’m so afraid of the kids getting sick. However, it’s never as bad as I imagine. Or you know, you survive and that’s cool to realize. I even managed to clean the house and bake a cake while taking care of my very snotty babies.
Today I woke up rested and happy. Hubby is home which means I got to sleep in, drink coffee in bed (with cake of course), blog and I even booked in a movie date with a friend of mine. Before that I need to freshen up and start hunting for some colorful outfits to match my mood. Lots of fun coming up this spring work wise. This Monday feels really good and longed for. There is something I believe in very strongly; to feel really happy one needs to be unhappy every once in a while as well. So, we need to be thankful for whatever mood we’re in at this very moment. I know I am.
