This look is typical me. Sweet and girly mixed with something relaxed to bring it down a notch. Both the dress and linen parka are second hand finds which to me make these pieces very special. When I shop second hand I put much less pressure on the clothes to be perfect compared to when I shop brand new pieces. I somehow accept the clothes for what they are and make the best out of it. Same things applies when I shop interior pieces for my home. We have a lot of old furniture and I don’t mind scratches and signs of life. I think it’s charming.
I actually sometimes find myself getting irritated over brand new pieces of furniture and clothes since I sometimes get disappointed when the price I payed doesn’t meet my expectations. Strutting around and browsing through stuff on markets (especially when traveling and abroad) is something I really love, enjoy and appreciate. I feel closer to the rest of the world when I get to look through other peoples old items and sometimes even welcome them into my own home.
