Last fall, during my quick visit to Stockholm I got stunned by a super trendy woman wearing black loose trousers tucked into a pair of crazy sexy red patent leather boots. She was extra everything and wore her look proudly. That attitude inspired me and I instantly felt like I needed a piece of her attitude in my life. Sometimes I feel like I’m too careful personality-wise which also mirrors my style. Although, deep within I know there’s a power lady eager to step out and shine.

My obsession with the red boots begun and after a few minutes of googling I found this pair of perfection by Male Birger. Sold out everywhere of course. I even searched on Ebay and Vestiairecollective, but they were nowhere to be found. Typically!

During my trip to Copenhagen I called three Malene Birger stores and visited one and got told they were sold out everywhere. Did I give up? Kind of because I realized I had become unhealthily obsessed, but the hope never dies, right?! Then all of a sudden, my sweeter than sweet colleague Didem texted me from the airport to say she might have seen my boots in the airport shop. I called… They only had one pair left, in my size and they were on sale!!!

Now we are happily united and I instantly got that feeling of coolness I longed for ;). I’m in love!
