Moment. Have you heard of the app that measures your phone activity? I downloaded it a while back and it’s super good. It shows me everything I do on my phone, how many times I pick it up, the overall time spent and how the time was divided. I’m thinking it’s very healthy for us to see how we behave and if needed, put up goals and timeframes. Especially now during vacation times.
It has worked very well for me, although it was kind of scary to see how many times per day I pick up my phone even though I don’t spend that much time on it. This app motivates me to put more time on other things because I realize how valuable time is and how much I unknowingly spend on refreshing various sites. It’s like I don’t want to disappoint the app, so I try to stay away as much as possible.
For now, my goal for myself is 2 hours/day. I think that’s reasonable considering I use my phone for work? I realize, I’m gonna have to rethink my timeframe when I return to the city.
Today, my long period of being alone with the kids is finally over. Looking forward to reuniting as a family again.
