home touchdown

Home from Zürich but leaving for Hanko tomorrow morning. I’m going there to co-host an event for a group of friends. I know we’re goanna have a good time and I’ve been waiting for this day to come for a while already. It’s like now when school is over-party season can kick off officially!
Zürich was beautiful, cozy and home-like. It reminds me of Helsinki, and so does the people. It feels safe and familiar. This trip also made me realize how much our kids have grown. Zero meltdowns (for either kids or adults), no running around at restaurants and no constant walking in the aisles of the airplane for three hours straight. As I always say; it’s bitter sweet, but I’m also really enjoying it. The relationships I’m forming and building with each of my children and seeing them find each other is precious. They teach me Somuch about life every day and I teach them what I’ve learned along the way. I love being their mother. It makes my life so meaningful.
