Fries before the storm

I spent the day before going into labour in the best way possible. I felt weird all day, unusually relaxed and a bit spaced out. I enjoyed lunch stretched into dinner in one of my favorite spots in Helsinki, Brasserie Kämp. It’s the perfect place if you are looking to sit and gossip for ages, letting the time pass by. I also love the feeling being surrounded by people from all over the world. Kämp hotel itself is such a beautiful, inviting and beautiful spot to hang out at. Totally a pride of Helsinki.

This time I ordered the club sandwich with a side of fries. So good! Perfect meal to fill up with before doing the workout of my life later that night. The burger is also really good I’ve heard, even though I’m not into burgers myself.
The body is wonderful. I should have known something was up this day. I was clearly charging batteries and what better way to do that than to be attentive and listen to the body. If the body wants fries, give it fries. There might be a reason for it (unless it wants it everyday will say ;)).

I did the same thing when I was pregnant with Annika. A delicious supper at Kanata Sushi followed by Sunday brunch at the Brookstreet hotel……two of my favourite spots in Kanata ;)
Minkälainen synnytys kokemus sinulle tällä kertaa jäi? Miltä tuntuu olla nyt kahden lapsen äiti, erilaiselta, samanalaiselta?
