Fortune teller

Fashion,2 January 2020

Happy New decade! Can’t believe that New Year’s Eve has become one of my favorite evenings. I used to completely ignore the day before, but ever since I became a mum, the pressure has been off, and we started the tradition to invite friends and their children over for a relaxed Nepalese dinner. This year, the children were louder than ever, and we’ve still not managed to clean up all the mess. Every single plate and glass got dirty and we still step on Lego’s mixed up with puzzles. Loved ending 2019 like this and really hope 2020 has many of these in store for us.

After the kids and husbands were tucked into bed at 10pm, 5 ladies happy on life went out to continue the celebrations. I got home way too late and really had to pay off my duties the day after.  I never drink more than a couple glasses of wine, but sleep deprivation is the worst for me! I felt nauseous and got chills all day yesterday. Clearly in need of more practice this year ;).

A couple years ago, I met a medium who told me that 2021 will be my best year. I don’t know what she meant by “best”, but I decided to enjoy the journey. I’m sure 2020 will be an amazing year for all of us. In one way or another. Hopefully we’ll learn something, laugh a lot, love hard, feel and embrace life. That’s what I wish for this year, and the next 10.
