Detox

Finally, back on track after fighting a stomach flu. Celebrating the win with a sunny Helsinki today! Since I don’t think we should discuss the stomach flu any further, I think it’s better to focus on the lovelier things I experienced this week.

I’ve written before about being a fan of lymphatic drainage. This time I’m going to talk about lymphatic drainage done mechanically, using suction and pressure. It’s my first time ever having lymphatic drainage that isn’t done by hand. I heard about this place from a colleague and friend who’s been going here for years and she managed to get me a free test round.

Since I already had a booked appointment, I didn’t want to cancel even though I figured it wouldn’t be the best idea to have a lymphatic treatment so soon after recovering from being sick. However, I went to my appointment, discussed with my therapist and we decided to do the treatment, carefully.

The treatment was extremely effective! Perfect for increasing the metabolic waste system, break down fat-cells and firm tissue. I had it done on my legs, since I have quite lazy blood circulation in my legs and they get achy easily.  This treatment de-bloats effectively, therefore I had to be super careful and drink an abundance of water. But for all of your lymphatic drainage fans, this is the most effective one I’ve been to. I’m going to go once a week now to get things moving. I’ll keep you updated on the result, but I can already see a very nice change-less cellulite and I’m feeling more firm ! Not saying no thanks to that. Very interested to see the end result of the treatment series.

You can check out the place and treatments here! The treatment I tried was the detox body treatment.
