501

Happy Easter! This outfit is more bad ass than usual, but includes all of my favorite pieces like this cashmere hoodie, leather jacket with collars, cut off Levi’s 501, and cat eyed shaped sunglasses. I’ve literally lived in this hoodie ever since I got it!
We kick started Easter with our yearly tradition to visit the zoo with my family. It was a wonderful day and the kids enjoyed themselves to the fullest. After the Zoo, we had sushi and chit chatted for hours. The best! Today I’m cleaning our home before snapping some interior pictures for you. I made a little bedroom fresh- up I want to show you. An entire new bedding, new lamps and some other small details that makes a big difference. Feeling so inspired! Maybe it’s time to finally wash the windows as well? Nothing says spring more than that!

Now I am inspired! I had an automatic “Yes!” reaction to your idea of an Easter outfit, as I am once again putting together familiar and favorite pieces for the weekend’s simple family together-time. Returning to the classic mainstays of my closet, knowing it’s simpler than one thinks, brings the comfort and joy in my own decisions no matter what the day or night. After many years living in some void of uncertainty over deciding what clothing to wear, with the dreaded steps of creating an outfit, it all came together for me after several years spent with the input from my trusted, honest-to-goodness “design-friends “who knew more than most, steering me along the shops’ aisles and through their own closets. It is now a blessed day knowing to reach for the familiar black silk camisole to go beneath the wool, over-length Italian -designed gold sweater and then…simply put on whatever came to me next! Great boots, or now the favorite black pumps or flats for upcoming weather, and off to feel comfortable in my own skin knowing that my own self-guidance is my friend! Thanks for the blog, looking forward to reading when I break away for some fresh air!
