Tip of the day

Here is what I wore last night to the preview of Helene at the National Theatre. A dress by Bash Paris from My o My. I love French brands and find dresses like these very easy to wear in different ways over and over again. I love to wear mine with a cozy knit and sneakers in the fall or with a pair of flat sandals, wet hair and freckles in the summer ;). Pieces that are versatile are the once I wear the most and always worth the investment.
The movie about Helene Schjerfbeck was beautiful. I really appreciate the effort in nice scenery and this movie was filled with scenes so well thought out that the scenes, in their simplicity, painted the entire movie into a piece of art itself. Lovely use of colors and very impressive acting by Laura Birn, who is one of my favorite Finnish actresses.
After the movie we walked to Ateneum to enjoy the art exhibition. It was beautiful, but even more melancholic than the movie. Have you seen it? Especially her self-portraits spoke loudly. Haha, this wasn’t supposed to become a movie and art exhibition review, but I’m still kind of effected by last night’s mood. Me and my lovely date for the night ended the night with snacks at Yes Yes Yes.
I already recommended you this on stories, but why not here as well. In case you like me love feel-good series, I can warmly recommend the Norwegian Semester on Yle Areena. It reminds me of Skam, which is a big favorite of mine. Watch it, if you want something nice and relaxing before going to bed tonight :).
