Both you and I seem to enjoy interior inspiration, hence the repeated mood boards. Even though I’ve been talking about our move for weeks already, nothing that exciting has happened yet. Or at least I don’t have anything concrete to share. We are still carefully thinking through every option regarding the floorplan. I find it so difficult to imagine the mood, the feeling of a space only from looking at a drawing. Right now, I find the kitchen to be the most challenging and to be honest, I rarely find kitchens that inspiring or emotion awakening.

Anyhow, here are some inspiring pictures collected. I love the cloud lamp, the more untraditional kitchens, wood floors and touches of black.

Am I the only one who completely lack Christmas spirit right now? Let’s remember I’m obsessed with Christmas and listen to Josh Groban and Celine Dion’s Holiday albums starting from August. This year, I have too much on my mind to get in the mood so instead, I’m listening to my good old favorite Lana Del Rey. Her tunes mirror my mood perfectly. She’s amazing.

This week I’ve found myself an office space, juggled different floorplan options in our new apartment and had some amazing meetings with my friends. This seems to be the week of confessions and opening up, because I’ve had amazing and meaningful talks with my girlfriends. The secret of deepening your friendships is to dare to share. Give and you’ll get back. For me, the friendships never develop into anything meaningful if what’s at stake isn’t balanced. The more you dare to give of yourself, the more trust you’ll earn. That’s just how I experience it and how I work. Do you agree or disagree?

I also went to yoga on Monday and I’m thinking I’ll manage to squeeze in another class this week. Love to be back at it again and I felt so much stronger on Monday already. Tomorrow I’m meeting up with a friend for both breakfast and work, so I’m sure tomorrow will follow the same good pattern as this week has so far.
