Shop my wardrobe

Please someone remind me of how unglamorous and hard it can be at the end of a pregnancy! It’s dangerous having a blog documenting less realistic pictures of life happenings because that makes me miss being pregnant. Especially the feeling of always carrying the baby with me wherever I go, but also hiccups, kicks and of course dressing the bump. However I am so happy having Gabriel on the outside and being able to hold him in my arms.

Every now and then I actually seek for inspiration in my own blog, hehe. It’s very beneficial, since I only have to walk into my own wardrobe to find the pieces needed. Coming up with new interesting outfits is almost as difficult (jeahjeah bloggers problems) as coming up with new dishes to cook. Or maybe not. Coming up with new dishes is way worse. Nothing beats that.

Today I think I’ll wear this exact outfit except for the bag and shoes which I’ve recycled forward some time ago. Speaking of recycling, I have the joy to invite all of you to shop mine and my dear colleagues treasures at Veuve Clicquot Vintage Shop held at Miltton showroom next Tuesday 29.11 at 17.30-21.00!!! Please come and empty my table :D! I’m selling a great mix of designer and high street pieces at affordable prices.

Valmistaudu talven juhliin ja päivitä vaatekaappisi Suomen muotiväen aarteilla.

Samppanjatalo Veuve Clicquot kutsuu sinut tunnelmalliseen ostosiltaan tiistaina 29.11.2016 kello 17.30-21.00 Miltton Showroomille, Uudenmaankatu 4-6. Tapahtuma on avoin kaikille.

Long time since I wore a dress. I always swore I was a dress, red lipstick and heels kind of girl, but all of a sudden I find myself running towards the opposite direction. I wear outfits I used to think of as dead boring! 18 year old Sofia would snore and roll her eyes at me. (Wonder if I’ll soon catch myself wearing kitten heels, ripped jeans, crop tops and other things I swore I’d never wear?) I know I’ve become much more comfortable with age, which in turn explains at least why I don’t wear one pieces while I breastfeed, but I also enjoy the easiness of wearing uncomplicated and simple clothes. I mean why stumble around in inconvenient shoes that restrict me from running around with my babies? My daily uniform is more or less jeans and a knit and I haven’t purchased a pair of stilettos in forever.

I decided to jump on the train and travel back in time. This dress reminded me of who I used to be with all my ruffles and skater skirt hems. I felt like a girl again in this outfit, but made a compromise between my old self and new self by choosing comfy shoes. Change is good, but I still owe my 18 year old self a good round to fun town every now and then ;).
