It’s here! The real fall, not the fashion world fall where it’s hot as hell but you (aka me) still think it’s worth the struggle to sweat in full leather looks, high boots and mohair wool knits that feels like torture when your skin gets damp from sweat. Yesterday’s black sky, stormy morning and crisp air felt comforting somehow. Maybe I’ll clean the apartment, make mashed potatoes and lit candles tonight for the first time this fall.

This past weekend was perfect. We did” normal” family activities like eat taco’s, playing in the park, walk in the forest and visit family. I think everyone enjoyed it, because my husband has been away but now, he’s finally back. Family complete!

Some of you wonder what I wear on days off work, like when I go to school, pick up kids and you know, grocery shop for example… It’s difficult to say, because it really depends. However, mostly I do wear the same thing all day but change from heels to sneakers when I pick up the kids and vice versa. At school, I usually wear whatever I wear to work, because I usually go to class straight from a meeting, event or photo shoot. At first, I felt kind of awkward marching in wearing high heels, but now I’m completely over that. Maybe because I already feel like an alien struggling with students 10 year younger than me, living a different kind of life than myself ;).

What I love tho, is to be comfortable. I love to wear nice sets that feel good on the body while they look elegant and nice. Just like this Busnel set. This set is perfect for travelling, hotel breakfasts (yes, I plan my breakfast outfits when I travel and think hotel breakfasts is a category of its own) and to take kids to school in.
