How was your weekend? It’s Sunday evening, and a new week is around the corner. Earlier today, we spent some hours outdoors as a family and ordered Pizza for lunch. The weather was perfect, but I’m still feeling a bit cold. Bikram yoga later today will feel heavenly and end the week in a good and relaxing way.

Next week is a bit special. On Thursday, I’m attending a gala and I have the honor to have a dress made for me by Katri Niskanen. I have my first fitting tomorrow, but I’m feeling super calm. I trust her fully and I’m sure I’ll be more than happy with the dress. The best part is however, that on Thursday we get to spend a couple of hours together as a couple- child free. It’s very rare and since we both have hectic schedules, we rarely use help for date nights. Well, unless it’s for a funeral like yesterday…

Before Christmas, my grandfather passed away. It was expected because he was ill, but still tough and sad of course. Yesterday was beautiful in so many ways and today my heart feels a bit lighter. I know he’s in a better place, wherever that may be and for all of us that remain missing him, I have learned to trust that time will make everything easier.

Right now, I’m just feeling hopeful and calm. School starts on Tuesday and I have no clue how to organize my life to make room for my courses, but I don’t feel the lest stressed. I have more important things to focus on. Everything else is just extra topping.
