Tommy X Gigi
Finally it’s back. I’ve always loved it and never given up on it. Patent leather. This season even skirts and pants in patent leather aren’t too much when paired with a chunky knit or cool tee. But a little bag, belt or pair of shoes is never out of style and perks up any outfit.
These shoes from the Tommy X Gigi collection made me fall in love with patent leather accessories in general. I just noticed myself wanting to wear them day after day because they seem to make every outfit more pretty. Especially all black outfits become much more interesting when combining different materials and textures. However, personally I prefer to have only one patent leather piece per outfit. Unless it’s a night time look with matching shoes and bag.

Hi, This shoes are pretty. However I am wondering how to take care of the patent leather material, does it loose the shine and glossy surface over the time. And as a side questions, where on earth are those beautiful stockings?

Hei Elina,
In my experience patent leather is the easiest material to care for and its really not sensitive at all! However, apparently patent leather can crack when it’s really freezing temperatures (-25?). So I wouldn’t take the risk to carry a patent leather bag o so. When it comes to shoes they are super super easy. If they get dirty I just wipe them off with a wet towel and they are good to go! Highly recommend <3. The stockings are really old ones from asos :).
