This dress must be the only thing I bought during the sales this summer. I found it at Zara and what attracted me was the hem length and loose sleeves. As you might have noticed I almost never wear anything but high necks since I’m not into cleavage, so also that was a bonus.

The weekend was awesome. We hang out with both family and friends and I even managed to get all the piled up laundry done. That must be the worst part about traveling and spending time at the cottage. Especially when having a child who goes through a few outfit changes per day.

Now I’d better get back to cleaning before Greta comes back from the park. Have a great beginning of the week!

This mosaic platform located in Arabiaranta is gorgeous isn’t it? When it comes to beautiful locations in Helsinki and Finland in general, there are never ending options. While working on this blog I’ve seen so many places and started to look at locations and my city in a whole different way. So much potential and beauty hidden in unpredictable places.

This weekend has been less glamorous than these pictures may indicate. I’ve spent time at the cottage and  some well needed quality time with my family. Greta LOVES the country side! She get’s to use her imagination playing in nature, feed horses, swim in the lake and run around freely as much as she wants. I never thought I’d become someone who dreams about spending week after week at the cottage each summer, but as I’ve said before; nothing feels as good as seeing your own child laugh and be happy.
