This day has been awesome. I feel like I’ve finally lowered my shoulders for the first time in weeks. I woke up right before 6 am and reviewed my school notes before I wrote an exam from 9 am to 1 pm. After my exam I walked home feeling such relief and when I got home I actually watched a movie while drinking coffee. I feel like I haven’t done something as relaxing as that in forever and I’m really looking forward going to bed knowing I don’t have to wake up feeling stressed and pressured.

The rest of my day I spent with my girl. She is such a little happy face and we had a blast on our walk back home from town looking at every single stone, trash, window, door, door step, you name it! Exploring the world through her eyes is a great wakeup call and reminds me to cherish every moment and the most simple things.

When we got back home we ate dinner and for dessert  both of us enjoyed our favorite thing, green smoothies. Both of us love smoothies and it’s a genius way to get her to eat enough veggies and fruits. There is one extremely important ingredient though, the straw. I think I could get her to drink almost anything as long as she gets to drink it with a straw. Today she drank not only her own but half of mine as well ;).

I usually mix smoothies using anything I have at home but if Greta drinks it I stay away from spinach and lettuce because of nitrates.

This smoothie above consists of 1/2 avocado, 1 banana, 1/2 lemon, 1 kiwi, cold water and ice cubes. Mix everything together until smooth and enjoy!

here we go again

Tired is the word of today. Yap, yet another rough night behind us and I’m starting to think that someone must be testing our strengths. Thankfully it’s been sunny outside and I find it so interesting every time how much happiness and extra energy only the weather brings. Sunshine has never been as important to me as this year with way too much lack of sleep. Another bonus is of course that I can cover my dark circles under my eyes with a pair of Ray bans ;).

Today I’ve taking it rather easy and finally we went shopping for a carpet for Greta’s room. I’m embarrassed to say that her room is far from done. I want to take my time while decorating and now I think we might have found a great carpet for her room. Now I just have to decide which color to choose. Oh decisions…

Here is today’s outfit snapped outside the carpet store ;). Have a good night lovelies <3.
