Saturday Slob

This family just got back home from some family time well spent at the public swimming pool. As you might guess we were not the only once who thought swimming was a great idea for Saturday morning ;). Me and Greta have attended baby swim ever since she was 3 months old. She is so brave and happy swimmer by now which is fun to watch.

I don’t have much on my agenda today which is exactly how I prefer my Saturdays to look like. I’m just going to spend my day in my sweats, eat a slow and nice lunch, study a little and perhaps go for a walk later.Tomorrow will be a lot more glamorous, but first I need to charge my batteries being a slob for a day ;).

Pictures obviously not from today. These were taken a couple of weeks ago and I just wanted to say that I think I’ve worn this black dress from Tiger of Sweden at least 3 days a week for the past few weeks. Such a great piece to wear with almost anything for any occasion! Goes with sneakers, heels, a blazer, cardigan or a cool leather vest. Simplicity and good basics are really growing more and more on me as we speak. I have once again gotten rid of a huge pile of clothes and now I’ve come up with an even more strict rule for myself. At least three pieces has to go for every one new piece coming into my closet. But don’t you worry, I will never quit shopping since I’m not a quitter ;).

Have a fantastic day people!

Prima Ballerina at 27

When I was younger I used to dance classic ballet. I loved it and I was pretty good I think. I always had trouble remembering the routines but my technique was good. I still feel strongly for ballet and I really enjoy watching a show at the opera ever now and then. It’s so graceful, elegant and extremely disciplined which makes me really appreciate it.

Ballet has played a big role in my life and it has also been very helpful in my modeling career. I have learned to know my body, how to move and I’m able to control and be aware of also smaller details like hands and fingers, that can play a big role in photographs.

Today I took a little walk through memory lane and laced up my ballet shoes. I have been wanting to look up a dance studion for some adult lessons in classic ballet and today’s twirl on the dance floor (aka living room) inspired me to do something about it. Maybe I’ll become a prima ballerina after all? Well before my big break through happen I’ll continue practicing with Greta <3.
