Queen of snacking? Yes please! I’m terrible at eating two proper meals every day, therefore I want to make sure I snack on healthy and filling snacks throughout the day. Snacking is one of the most important things to take a look at both when it comes to weight control, keeping your energy levels in check and to fight against unhealthy cravings. For many of us, eating smaller meals along the day keeps us content longer. Resulting in better portion control when it’s time for lunch and dinner.
Since I have children I prefer snacks that are easy to grab and eat on the go. I need to be able to provide my children with something they can snack on in the park, on the bus, in the strollers and in the car. Basically wherever and whenever. An extra bonus is if the snack itself is easily stored and doesn’t smudge.
Elovena oat and fruit bars have been a part of what I carry with me in my bag on a daily basis for some time already. When I get hungry I need to eat something immediately and the same applies to my daughter. These snack bars are perfect to snack on between meals and while transitioning from A to B. Elovena oat bar contains nutritious whole wheat oats and is rich in fiber. It is lactose free and is free from added sugar. There are two flavors available, apricot and raspberry (or as my daughter calls it:the pink one). Most importantly it keeps my daughter full until the next meal and I love to grab one myself while on the go.
