Silencio

There is something cozy about this weather. It’s so warm, but a little too calm and good to be true. You know the thunder is coming, it’s just a matter of time.
Today is the first day after a longer break that I went out to take some new pictures. I’ve had absolutely no inspiration or anything to say for a few days now, therefore I decided to be silent. Silence is gold. Especially when everything else feels forced. I’ve been alone with the kids for a couple of weeks now and we’ve had a great time, but it’s also been exhausting. A period of bad nights, fever, stomach pain and other nerve testing challenges made me switch focus to being 100% mum. That’s my survival trick that always works. I take on the challenge and put all my energy towards that. This way I’m able to be in the moment and enjoy it. Without stressing about all the other should do’s. I know there are many of you who struggle with similar energy stealing challenges. That’s why I want to share my little tip. Choose your focus and leave the rest.
Tomorrow it’s time for me to get pampered at the hairdresser. Can’t even tell you how much I’ve been waiting to get a couple of hours all by myself. I’m going to bring this book with me. I simply haven’t had time to finish it. Kind of embarrassing, but better late than never, no?
