Shadows for dummies
Since I’ve received several questions about my new found eye makeup routine I thought it was about time to make a mini “tutorial”. Although, it’s not really needed because all I do is smudge some shadow approximately on my eyelids and then I blend. I do everything against the rules I guess, but I just so happen to like how it looks applied this way, and I’ve never been too into the gradient eye makeup shifting from light to dark. I prefer it a bit messy, relaxed and imperfect. My way of doing it requires no makeup skills at all (which I clearly don’t possess).

I start by applying the lightest shadow of the palette using a somewhat flat and small brush. I brush it all over the lid which after I switch into a rounded brush (mac) while moving onto the grey/brown color in the middle. I simply apply it in the crease of my eyes, following the natural shape.

The last and most important step is to blend. I blend more towards the inner corners of my eyes and add more color to deepen the shadow at the outer corners. I use circular motions. To complete the look I sometimes swipe what’s left on the brush towards the outer corners under my eyes.
The palette I use is cold browns trio from Isadora.

Mac have the best brushes! Love the way you’ve created this “natural beauty” / daytime make up look!
