Second round love

Don’t give up on me. I will soon (aka tomorrow) bombard you with sunny, colorful and inspiring pictures of palm trees, sunsets, turquoise pools and sandy but cheeks (ok maybe not) but for now, it doesn’t get any more interesting than this very shocking outfit.:Midnight blue slip skirt with my favorite patent leather boots. No, not interesting enough? I know, but at least I really made an effort. It was slippery as hell and all I wanted was to go home and not return until spring.
Anyhow, now when it’s time to wave goodbye to these slushy pictures with 50 shades of grey in the background I want to thank my materialistic pick-me-up of the season; my vintage saddle bag from Dior. I have worn it repeatedly ever since I bought it and I love it more than I ever thought I could love something so unpractical. Vintage shopping is something I really want to support and do more of, therefore I always check my favorite vintage sites first. It’s not only much more environmentally friendly, but it’s way better for my wallet and I love carrying pieces with a story. All my vintage pieces feel more special because they come with a past and I get to take them for a few more spins.

Can you imagine how I feel this season realizing I sold my saddle like 5 years ago.
I regretted it a bit ever since but now….sigh.
You look gorgeous cowboy girl ;)
