Hi Darlings! Tried to do some Christmas shopping today, but failed big time. Anxiety deluxe! I never knew there were so many of us :)! Trying to psych myself into giving it a new try tomorrow, because after all it’s only Christmas once a year and it is my favorite holiday.

Every year I promise myself to take it easy around Christmas and not get all stressed up. I’m definitely trying to live by that also this year. Togetherness is what matters most, but I also find it wonderful to be able to create traditions and memories for my kids. They enjoy the smallest things and get so excited when happy moments from last year and years before that get repeated. It’s like they find comfort and safety in understanding the pattern and so do I.

Now I’m going to repeat another pattern of mine that’s rather new. I’m going to lay on the couch, eat ginger bread cookies (Stockmann have the best) while watching my new favorite series Gypsy on Netflix. It’s amazing!
