Since I’m taking a break from freezing my behind off myself while shooting outfit pictures outdoors, I’m focusing on indoor friendly posts for now. A few weeks ago I did a review on my new Sac De Jour bag from Saint Laurent (find it here). This time I’m going to review my most worn shoes Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100mm.

These shoes are iconic. Classy, classic, suitable for every occasion, perfect with any outfit and super sexy. The height of the heel is perfect. Could be higher for added sex appeal, but the 100 mm is manageable to walk in which in my opinion is what wearing high heels is all about. A gracious walk, extended legs and a straighter back, and of course the beautiful sound that comes when the heels touch the ground. Like music to my ears.

I, myself manage to walk in 10 cm heels an entire day or evening. 12 cm is also somewhat ok depending on the fit, but preferably only for special occasions, dinners or shorter events. I prefer the pigalle in patent leather since it keeps it’s shape better than leather, and I think it is the perfect match with the red sole. If I would own one pair of heels it would be these. I know they look good with everything at anytime and will last a lifetime.

Although Louboutin have struggled with their sizing, these beauties fit true to size. I wear shoe size 38 and these fit me perfectly in that particular size.

So, if you’ve been dreaming about these beauties I give you my fullest support. Good investment which will save you a lot of time, effort and money in the long run.
