When it comes to hair products I have to say I’m quite harsh. If one doesn’t fulfill my in my opinion not so demanding needs, I won’t offer that product a second chance. To be honest, washing my hair is one of the most boring ways to spend my time, which is why I need my products to be as pleasant and effective as possible. I need to feel like my hair is completely clean and healthy after washing it. Healthy hair to me  means not dry, frizzy and difficult to comb through. Many shampoo’s have also left my hair feeling “too nourished” meaning a bit greasy and flat afterwards.

Volume without compromising healthy looking hair is everything I ask for from the products that I use, so I was happy to test out these new series from the American hair brand OGX. I know OGX is a very loved brand around the globe, so I was happy to try out two of their series.

When familiarizing myself with the products I instantly fell for the Biotin & Collagen series including B7- vitamin biotin, collagen and wheat protein. The products add volume and fullness and helps reducing hair loss. Both the shampoo and conditioner did their job during the wash and they also get an extra bonus for smelling absolutely divine.

After washing I applied the root boost spray in towel dry hair for added texture before blow drying.

What I also love about this brand is that all their products are free from Paraben and Sulfate and their packages are eco friendly!

The second series I tried is the most known for the brand, the Argain Oil of Morocco. These renewing products helps nourish and strengthen damaged hair as well as protects from UV-rays. The products contain soothing E-vitamine and antioxidants.

After washing my hair with this series my hair felt really soft, smooth and shiny. The dry oil spray added glow and smoothness and helped me comb through my hair smoothly. This series is perfect for dry and damaged hair especially now after the summer!

Now these products are available also in Finland in Citymarkets and Sokos department stores.
