Me, myself and motherhood
Good morning. The sun is shining and spring is in it’s full bloom. We spend a lot of time outdoors and it’s such a mood lifter to hear the birds sing in the morning on our way to the play ground. Greta herself bring so much sunshine and laughter to my days and I am enjoying motherhood to the fullest. It’s not all about survival anymore. She sleeps a lot better and I only nurse about once or twice a day. She will soon be a year and a half <3.
I also feel I’m becoming more relaxed which gives me the opportunity to enjoy myself more when doing things on my own. The only thing I strive for when it comes to parenting is to do what feels right, no matter what everyone else thinks. I decide to trust myself and my gut instead of listening too much to all the advice I’ve been given or comparing to other children and parents. When in doubt I search for the information I need and I’m also lucky to have such a great group of support always available.
How about all of you mothers/ fathers out there? How are things rollin for you :)?

Fin text!
Nice post and chic outfit! :) It’s a lovely age year and a half, they are just so cute :D Was going to ask how has motherhood changed you the most? I am interested in this if I’d some day would also be one.. Enjoy the spring days and the birds sing :)
Good question. Motherhood has changed everything but I’m happy to notice that I’m still me. Motherhood just makes everything so much more meaningful and important. I am afraid of new things and I worry ALL THE TIME! A child is so valuable which makes it hard to relax and enjoy things care free. I think over thinking and worrying is a big part of motherhood that will continue for the rest of my life. Life will never be what it was pre child, which is exactly how it’s supposed to be, because the biggest worry is to loose everything I’m so blessed to have by having her in my life <3.
I can understand this of worrying.. and meaningfulness! Thank you.
Yaaay! So glad to hear that Greta is now much better in sleeping than before and that you’re getting more comfortable in being yourself and following your gut. That’s always the best and that’s what I always did. Never compare yourself to other moms or your kid to another, that never brings any good and can only left you dwelling about silly things.
Can’t wait to see you end of May, we so need to catch up! :)

Yes I agree. That is a rule I try to live by not only when it comes to motherhood but in life in general. Comparing to others will just make life miserable. So why not celebrate what we love and have in our own lives instead of focusing on others we don’t know anything about :).
5 ja 3-vuotiaat lapset pitävät huolta, että pysyn liikkeessä
Uskon! Sain fitbitin lahjaksi ja hyvin yllättyneenä huomasin miten paljon liikun ihan tavallisena päivänä kotona Gretan kanssa! It’s a workout!
Yritin tänne kommentoida, mutta teksti jotenkin hävisi kun lapset pyöri vieressä
