Look what I found yesterday! Even though I had a very unselfish agenda to spend the day shopping for my daughter I couldn’t resist this golden palm tree standing there looking handsome in the window. I surprised myself, because I usually never buy anything new for my home since I prefer oldies and flea market finds the most.

When it comes to candle holders I have a few old ones but to be honest I find them a little bit unsafe. They aren’t that stabile and with children around I need them to be trustworthy. This candle will be lit every night when I read bed time stories for my kids, hoping it can bring us some light and warmth also in our minds if/when the days feel long, dark and cold.
