One of the most asked questions I get here on the blog is about my hair care routines. I have tried to ignore the subject for as long as possible because I simply don’t know what to say. I don’t use any specific products and also I don’t have any super tips to share.
My hair is long but quite fine so my biggest battle is trying to give it some more volume and structure. I wash my hair about every third day and I always blow-dry and flat iron/ curl it. I usually use my ghd flat iron for bending the ends but now I recently bought a thick curling iron that I alternate with. I am totally hooked on dry shampoo and I use a little hair spray every now and then as well . I also like to use smoothing products and oils for my dry ends after showering.
I like my color to be as natural as possible because I’m not a big fan of grown out roots. After years and years of trying to find the right shade for me I’ve finally found a great hair dresser who understands what I want and what works for me. I highlight my hair about two times a year and I am extremely happy and satisfied every time I leave the salon. The salon I go to is called Q-hair and Johanna is the one who does my hair.
I don’t use any specific products except Paul Mitchell’s super skinny serum that I’ve been using for years and years. It’s the best! I also always brush my wet hair with a tangle teaser to minimize breakage.
I want my hair to be natural and healthy looking but other than that I’m pretty easy going about my hair. I’m not into strict hairdo’s other than a simple ponytail because it’s jut not really my style. I like my hair wild and free. Simple as that ;D.
