Freedom and peaceful Christmas
Nothing feels as much as freedom than minutes after handing in your last exam of the year. My studies are constantly with me consciously or unconsciously and can’t be compared to any other activity in my life. It’s about constantly testing myself and being tested. I could always do more, push my own limits and aim for even better grades, but a limit has to be drawn somewhere.
I feel so happy and relieved, and tired! It’s like the underlying exhaustion hit me the second I stepped out of school. However, it’s a good feeling because there are no more musts. I can give into the feeling and enjoy it. Now I want to focus on creating a beautiful Christmas for my family. Today is a perfect day to decorate the tree, bake another round of ginger bread cookies and perhaps enjoy an hour or two zipping on Glögg just me and Him.
Maybe time to start thinking about Christmas gifts. I haven’t bought a single one yet!
