DIY choker

I have to admit that I’m not really the DIY kind of woman. Even though I wish I was. Since I love to treasure hunt at flea markets I have promised myself not to purchase anything that needs a little nip and tuck. It never happens. Instead items that are so-so gather dust somewhere in a corner, giving me a bad conscious. It only works if it’s something I really love and can be outsourced to my seamstress.

However, every now and then I surprise myself. While going through my arts and crafts drawer I found this leather band. I think it once came wrapped around a box from Louis Vuitton. I saved it as gift wrapping decoration, but when I saw it I got inspired to wear it as a choker. It turned out to become a fun detail.

I’m sure any kind of ribbon or string will do. As long as it pleases the eyes of the person who wears it. In the end, that’s what it’s all about no?
