Sunday morning that didn’t turn out as planned, but that’s ok. Last night, me and my husband had booked a table at Sikke’s for a nice double date night with friends. My kids had wished they could sleep over at my dad’s a few weeks ago, so we dropped them off there for a day together with my dad and his wonderful gf ;). Both of us had lots of work to do, so I spent all of yesterday working and planned to stay in bed all morning today instead, watching Netflix and be totally antisocial all morning. We also have a late breakfast booked with friends. However, my daughter got really homesick last night, and my dad was kind enough to drive them home and babysit for a few hours.

I woke up before 6am today but after a few cups of coffee, I feel happy that everything went so smoothly, and we got an evening out after all.

I’ve been waiting for some big news for some weeks already, and tomorrow is finally the day we’ll know for sure! I promise to keep you posted as soon as I get the news!

Now we’re off for a little walk before we pack the kids backpacks full of toys that hopefully will entertain them for at least 15 minutes or so during our breakfast ;).
