One of my dearest friends is a part of the Finnish Team Mongolanssi that will participate in the Mongolia Charity Rally in July 2015. Team Mongolanssi will drive the over 10 000 km rally from London, UK to Mongolia, Ulanbator. Each team decides their route to Mongolia themselves and there will be no help on the way. Every team must manage on their own all the way to the finish line.
The race is everything but a competition, and it is not important who crosses the finish line first. It is a chance to make a small change in a big world and to make a difference. The winner in this rally is the Mongolians, as all the collected funds as well as the driven vehicles from the different teams will go directly to charity to benefit the people of Mongolia.
Each team chooses its vehicle themselves. After finishing the rally the vehicle will stay in Mongolia and will be donated to benefit the Mongolian people and society. There is a great need for emergency vehicles in Mongolia and that is why Team Mongolanssi will participate with an ambulance. However the team is still on the lookout for the ambulance, if you can help them with this important task, please contact the team at teammongolanssi(at)gmail.com

In order to be able to take part in the rally, each team will have to raise 1000 GPB (1200€) for GoHelp. Go Help is a UK registered charity that is committed to working with local communities in Central Asia to improve their access to education and healthcare services. Go Help is also the founder to Mongolia Charity Rally. By helping Team Mongolanssi to reach the goal of 1000 GPB, you will help many others!

If you feel like you would like to participate in raising money for a good cause, you can make e a donation on Team Mongolanssins fundraising page! Please click here to make a donation!
