Big, bigger, Sofia. I’m Getting really big and heavy now, and yes I know that I’ll be laughing at myself at the end of my pregnancy when I have to cut myself out of my leggings, but still… However, what I find really interesting and funny is that when comparing my two pregnancies, I’m following exactly the same measurements and curve as in my last one.

I constantly find myself bumping into things, and I still think I can fit into the smallest of spaces even though I get stared at, trying got squeeze myself into an already full elevator etc. At the same time I’m having a blast. I get to wear really old pieces and coming up with new combos I’m probably going to question in a few months from now. So glad I have a blog I can go back to when all of this is over, as a proof of my weird since of style and desperate attempts to look somewhat decent (even though I’d rather only wear my husbands oversized sweats and hoodies).

I’ve made a really mature, responsible and safe decision to stay low key, wear mostly black and grey, and to stay away from shopping (necessary maternity clothes, grey knits and upgrading to larger sizes doesn’t count;))! It’s quite easy actually. The other day when I had to exchange something I bought for Greta, I walked through Zara and saw all the new arrivals. I didn’t even bother to look at anything since I knew only by taking a quick glance at the selection, that nothing would fit my new body shape.

Pregnancy is such a wonderful thing in so many ways and sharing my body is just a start and a teaser of what’s yet to come. It’s part of motherhood. Motherhood for me is all about putting your child before yourself, loving unconditionally and being unselfish. All my wants and needs have changed completely after becoming a mother (without feeling like sacrifices), and that kind of unselfishness can’t be compared to anything else. Sharing is caring, and I’m glad to share myself for yet some time forward, even though it means looking and feeling like a Barbapapa :).
