All glammed up
“He’s always asking: ‘Is that new? I haven’t seen that before.’ It’s like, Why don’t you mind your own business? Solve world hunger. Get out of my closet.”
― Michelle Obama

This week has passed by so fast and it’s finally time for the most glamorous time of the week, the weekend. When Greta was younger I used to enjoy my Friday nights by taking a long walk through the city and watch restaurants fill up with beautifully dressed, happy looking people. I love when the city feels alive and all the hard work pays off. People look and act different, and the entire downtown area has a different and more positive vibe about it. I love seeing groups of girls get together or couples on dates. The weekends have a certain excitement that I find interesting and appealing, even though I myself love weekdays and routines more than anything.
Even though I rarely go out, I still like to make my weekends special by meeting friends, relatives, visit places, order take away and of course dress up a little bit more than usual. There are enough “regular” days. Why not celebrate some days a little bit more just because we can? Today I’ll be wearing a new dress, red lips and cook something special for my family. Enjoy today.

That’s my old neighbourhood! I used to go there with Lara for long walks and she loved that mini park/walk through. I hear you about loving weekends and the whole vibe about them has always been so nice and magic for me ever since my childhood. Dressing up a little bit more and getting some good take away on Sat and Sunday is something I do regularly and it works like a charm as a mood lifter! :)
