Everyone around me knows I’m the hang-up type. When I find something I like I consume it with all my heart until the love affair is over for good. Luckily there are long lasting loves that last a lifetime, but there are also shorter flings that are just as important. Both of these types teach me something and even if I need it just for a short while it can be life changing there and then.

Here are my current favorites:

Navy blue. A color I’ve had trouble with all my life, but now learned to work with it. It’s the perfect shade to bring depth paired with black. This midnight blue chunky piece of perfection goes perfectly with my leather pants.

Hoops. Last spring I purchased these Pernille Corydon hoops that are perfect due to their matte gold color. effortlessly flirty.

Chanel. How can I explain myself ;)? These joy bringing pieces of art are lifelong investments and this interest of mine seems to go in the category: never ending love stories. Bitter sweet obsession if you know what I mean.

Nude lipstick. I used to be the type who only wore Eight hour creme or scarlet red lipstick. Now I rarely wear either unless I’m going to bed (referring to the eight hour creme, not the red one). Actually, lipstick has become so important I rarely leave the house without it. Yes, I even wear it to the playground! I have two favorites: velvet teddy from Mac and YSL rouge pur couture 70.

Patent leather. Always loved you, but now more than ever. I want patent leather everything!

Skam. Who else has fallen for this beautiful Norwegian tv series? It brings me back so many strong emotions. Love and heartbreak, hour long phone calls, eyes that speak so loud it’s difficult to hear your own thoughts, friendship and anxiety. Never have I felt so alive but I would never ever want to return. Bonus for super short episodes perfect for us mommies to relax to before bed.

Tata Harper volumizing lip & cheek tint. Hands down the most perfect cream blush on the market. The shade very nice makes my cheeks look heavenly. It’s a keeper.

Looking for some new years eve inspo? Usually I love wearing dusty pink or even white for new years eve. Never been too into sequins and glitter, but this dress got me. I love the star skye feeling and grey color. Goes perfectly with my new earrings from Santa and these comfy heels. The “only” huge con is that I spread sparkle all over while wearing it. Literally. I tried to wash it gently to stop it from shedding. Unfortunately it didn’t. Sincere apologies to the wonderful restaurant owner of Sköne. Didn’t mean to decorate your entire floor and furniture with glitter. Sorry!
