don’t belittle the diaper talk

_MG_1150

It’s been a lot of baby and pregnancy talk here lately, and it’s something I’m not going to apologize for. I can’t stand it when I experience negative comments or attitude about mom’s who talk about diapers, lack of sleep, phases they go through or anything related to their children. I also think it’s ridiculous to “try not to” talk about the children/ child when spending time alone with the other parent or partner. Being home with my child pretty much is my life. Especially for some time forward when my child is very little.

Why is it ok for people who work a lot, or for the working parent to talk about work constantly, without being looked at as something boring or unfulfilling? For someone spending all their time and energy being at home taking care of a child/ children, it is in my opinion quite unnatural not to talk about the happenings during the day. It’s one of my favorite moments when I get to tell my husband who’s traveling a lot what our precious little girl said, did and learned that day. It’s important to me to include him and other family members and close friends in our lives. I am proud and love the life I live, therefore I won’t let myself feel less interesting as a person or hushed down just because I want to talk about the most important things in my life.

Glam Mom

Fashion,Motherhood,pregnancy,27 November 2015

I haven’t been working out at the gym as much as I would have wished for, but I’ve tried to constantly stay active, and focused more on keeping my body in movement and feeling good and strong. I walk everywhere and I also try to take time for myself and calm down and stretch. During my last pregnancy I refused to wear any maternity clothes, so I suffered through an entire pregnancy feeling pretty much uncomfortable in everything I wore. I also had trouble fitting into any of my workout clothes, so I attended spinning class after spinning class wearing regular cotton leggings. Needless to say I got super excited, inspired and happy when I received a parcel with this upbeat workout gear inside! Just getting new workout clothes itself, is a total motivation trigger.

This sports bra with the possibility to easily nurse in, is also something I’m super excited about. I remember how I used to run home from the gym with my entire boob already hanging out in the stairway, to be able to calm my little one down as soon as possible. This proper nursing bra is a much better option, and I’m sure my neighbors agree :D.

This entire set is from a wonderful and cute web shop called Glammom. It’s a shop founded by two Swedish mothers, who wanted to create a shop filled with gorgeous nursing bra’s and maternity clothes focused on quality. I ordered a bunch of bra’s from them last time around, and remember feeling glamorous and like my old self f in these gorgeous sets of underwear, even right after becoming a new mom. I really want to support and raise my hands for these women who have not only created a great business along with motherhood, but something all the rest of us mama’s get to enjoy as well.
